Inside The Wine House at Raffles Maldives Meradhoo

The doors to the brand-new addition to The Raffles Maldives Meradhoo are finally open and we are dropping the curtains on The Wine House. An impressive wine cellar hosting a collection of 400 prestigious labels from around the world, The Wine House is set to impress even the most discerning oenophiles.

Wine tasting and pairing with delightful chocolates and cheeses will be led by a newly appointed Head Sommelier at the resort, Manuel Llamas. The Wine House will feature labels spanning across old-world classics to innovative new-world varieties, selected by Llamas himself to delight. Wines within the collection include a range of French and Italian vintages, from a Grand Cru Classe from Bordeaux to a rare Petrus 1996, as well as a kosher wine selection and varieties from the renowned Grace Winery in Japan.

Be it any occasion, guests are invited to savor the cellar’s offerings and sip their picks at wine pairing sessions tailored uniquely for every guest experience.
