It’s Not Just Another International Women’s Day in LUX* North Male Atoll

If anything, LUX* North Male Atoll is all about ers-defining and it has taken things personally this International Women’s Day. It was not a typical women’s day for the resort team who made the celebrations all about ‘Celenbrating OUR Women’.

Every single department on the island works relentlessly to drive the resort to its top position. All hyear long, the womenfolk from culinary to spa to sales to marketing dedicate immense contribution to the resort. In order to recognize and appreciate these efforts, LUX* North Male Atoll surprised its beloved ladies to a day of pleasant activities.

Since a majority of the Spa team is female, great pride was taken in offering the ladies a Tibetan sound healing session at the overwater LUX* Me Spa yesterday evening. They also received a complimentary head & shoulder massage, as described by Nina Christina, Spa Manager.

Teaming up to make this day even more special for his colleagues, Executive Chef, Taylor Shearman said, “International Women’s Day marks an important celebration for the advancement of women’s right as well as achievements, we are preparing some delights for our guests in-house as well as our colleagues to celebrate this special day,”

A special Appertivo was thrown in the evening, welcoming all ladies with bubbles of complimentary glass of Champagne. Attendees were entertained with live music performances and the resort’s mixologists at the Glow bar created an elegant variation of cocktails and mocktails as a welcome drink for all the ladies on this night.
