Kayaking Is More Than Just an Adventure; It’s A Life Changing Experience

Monday 7th of December 2020

A lot of travellers have something that’s called an adventure bucket list, which includes all the adventures and thrilling experiences they’d like to have during their lifetime. The activities on this list can range from the simplest things such as holding a koala and kangaroo in Australia to extreme sports such as sky diving. But an activity that surely needs to make it to your bucket list (and it often does) is kayaking.

Kayak is a small, narrow watercraft that’s used to move across the water using a paddle. It sounds just like rowing a small boat, but why is it so popular?

Health Benefits

Although canoeing and kayaking are different activities, these two are low impact activities that can improve your aerobic fitness, strength and flexibility. Specific health benefits include improved cardiovascular fitness and increased muscle strength, particularly in the back, arms, shoulders and chest, from moving the paddle.

Fun & unique

Here’s why you can go kayaking many times and yet will never get bored of it. Even if you go to the same place for this activity, the same country and the exact same beach and water, it’s a new experience each time because of the colours and textures of the sky and water change. The water can be deeper than the last time. And you never know what wildlife you might see or what memories you will make that day.

Adventure!

How do you define adventure? Often the word is described as an unusual and exciting or daring experience. Neither does it have to involve jumping from great heights nor has it to be risky and take a lot of strength and courage. Relaxing on your kayak in front of a sunset is also an adventure. Kayaking off a 30-foot waterfall is also an adventure.

Nature & Four Seasons Kuda Huraa

There's no better way to appreciate nature than while kayaking. The underwater world, the tropical sceneries, the sky, the sun shining on the blue lagoon- you feel free and at peace. And at Kuda Huraa, it’s hard to tell where the ocean ends and the sky begins. This is the perfect place to try out kayaking.
