Kuredu Island Resort- Environmental Champion

Kuredu has been awarded the TUI Environmental Champion award 2020, grabbing the title for the 5th consecutive time.

The TUI Environmental Champion audit covers a wide range of criteria in areas of conservation of the environment and implementation of social responsibility. ‘This important award is a testament to the resort’s ongoing, measurable actions toward sustainable hotel management,’ states the resort.

In 2017, Kuredu significantly reduced the number of single-use plastics, encourage guests to use reusable water flasks, continue providing in-house bottled water, use cutlery made from biodegradable materials at events whenever possible, and work hard to raise eco-awareness among guests, team and local communities alike.

Kuredu Island Resort & Spa is a beach front property situated in the Lhaviyani Atoll. The resort features an outdoor pool, a spa and a fitness centre which is complimentary for the guests.
