MACL Hires CEO for the First Time

Since the company’s start, Maldives Airports Company Limited is looking for a CEO for the first time. Since Ibu Solih’s presidency, MACL is the only government owned company that operates without a CEO.

The company is currently run by Deputy Chief Information Officer Moosa Soalih. He is also a relative of the president.

In the announcement by MACL, the suitable candidates for this position should have the adequate experience. In fact, one of the requirements are that a minimum of 15 years should be spent in aviation industry.

Within the 15 years, a minimum 10 years should be spent in senior management level and 5 years in sea suit level. Qualifications include a post graduate degree in aviation industry. The employment contract will be for 3 years but it can be extended.
