Maldivian, the national airline of the beautiful island nation of Maldives, has recently opened a sales office in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
A special ceremony was held last Saturday and was officially opened by the Maldivian ambassador to Bangladesh, Shiruzimath Sameer.
Currently, Maldivian operations to Bangladesh are on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Friday every week, with one-way tickets costing USD 225 and round trips costing USD 406.
As a lot of people from Bangladesh live in the Maldives for work, they are an important country to the Maldives. When the Maldives' border was reopened after closure in 2020, the first country to which Maldivian resumed flights was Bangladesh.
