Maldives Participates in Spain’s Biggest Fair

Maldives has participated in the biggest international tourism fair in Spain held from 22nd to 26th January in Madrid.

FITUR is an event organized by IFEMA spanning five days and welcomes both trade visitors from the tourism industry interested in the latest industry trends, and the general public who come for first-hand information about the destinations on show.

Several activities such quizzes with special gifts are being carried out at the Maldives stand to attract visitors. Visitors are also able to taste local snacks like the famous “Addu Bondi”, “Thelluli banbukeyo” as well as “Kulhi Roshi”.

The fair broke all previous participation records with 10,487 companies from 165 countries and regions, 142,642 trade visitors and 110,848 visitors from the general public.
