The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has partaken in the Pure Luxury Spring Edition 2023 event held in Moscow, Russia during this month. Reputed as one of the most exclusive B2B workshops hosted in the region, this event connected luxury travel suppliers with the Russian travel trade and professionals who cater to high-end clientele and VIP guests.
Since its inception in 2011, the Pure Luxury Spring Edition has become the ultimate platform for exhibiting the best in the luxury travel industry to a selected highly qualified audience. This year, the event took place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Moscow in a glamorous scene where MMPRC’s PR agents for the region brought forward the luxurious destination of Maldives. During the event, they highlighted a range of products and services to buyers from travel companies in Russia, who are specialists in catering to luxury travel and VIP clients.
This event aimed to promote the Maldives as an ultra-luxe holiday destination for the Russian market that is an ideal choice for high net-worth individuals and affluent travellers in the region. This also aligns with the marketing strategy for the Russian market – currently the no.1 source market to the Maldives – which includes strengthening Maldives’ brand image through ambient outdoor advertisements, digital media campaigns and greater marketing of products and services.
In 2023, more than 28,000 arrivals have been recorded for the Russian market which positions it as the largest source market for the Maldives. MMPRC carried out 16 high-profile campaigns designated for Russia last year with a suite of new activities and campaigns planned for this year as well.
