Maldives to Shine at ITB China 2024: MMPRC Invites Expression of Interest

To gauge the interest and participation of Maldivian companies in this significant event, MMPRC has circulated a notice calling for expressions of interest. The purpose is to estimate the overall number of companies eager to participate before securing the stand space.

Visit Maldives is committed to providing opportunities for all interested parties to join this fair, creating a platform for industry partners to showcase their products and experiences.

China has historically been a crucial market for the Maldives tourism industry, holding the top position before the global pandemic. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, arrival numbers from China are steadily recovering, approaching pre-pandemic levels. In the previous year, the Maldives welcomed over 172,163 tourists from China, solidifying its place as one of the top three source markets.

Tourism industry companies interested in participating in ITB China 2024 with Visit Maldives can express their interest by filling out the Google form titled "Expression of Interest for ITB China 2024" before 15:00 hours on Sunday, January 21, 2024.
