Maldivian’s Special Flight to Bangkok

National Airline Maldivian has confirmed a flight on 4th May 2020, to board from Velana International Airport to Bangkok Thailand. This was informed through a press statement by the Ministry of Tourism Maldives on 2nd May.

All passengers flying onboard Q2 9350 are reminded that Maldives Police Service will only permit vessels/vehicles carrying passengers with confirmed tickets from their respective locations to the airport.

Ministry is also requesting all resorts, guesthouses and island councils to cooperate with the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Foreign affairs, and Tourist Police to provide all the necessary assistance required in transporting the passengers to the airport. Further, all passengers are requested to adhere with the relevant authorities.

Royal Thai Honorary Consulate in the Maldives tweeted regarding the second flight for voluntary repatriation of Thai nationals in the Maldives organized by the Thai Embassy together with Thai Consulate in the Maldives. The flight will return with 131 Thai nationals in the chartered Maldivian Airline flight.
