Manta Air, the Maldives' five-star airline, has added another seaplane to its roster. The seaplane, which landed on Monday, November 29th, is a DHC-6 Twin Otter equipped with the latest Garmin G950 NXi next generation integrated flight deck avionics as well as a weather radar, demonstrating Manta's commitment to excellent service standards.
The aircraft that arrived on Monday is the third of four seaplanes that will be added to the fleet this year, with the fourth planned to arrive this December. Manta Air intends to keep their commitment and expand their fleet capacity in 2021, with the arrival of these new aircrafts.
With its seaplane and ATR domestic service, the airline, which began operations in 2019, has grown to serve over 30 resorts in just three years. Manta Air’s goal has always been to improve the Maldives' air transportation service standards.
Expressing his delight over the new addition to their fleet, the CEO of Manta Air, Mohamed Khaleel highlighted the busies season of the year being upon us, making it the perfect time to expand their collection, adding one more option for the guests visiting Maldives. He promised that the company will keep adding capacity in line with the building demand as more properties take advantage of the superior services offered by Manta Air.
