Manta Air to Start Operations to Addu City

Manta Air, a private airline that operates out of the Maldives, is set to commence operations to the southernmost part of the country, Addu City.

The airline is hoping to begin flights as soon as they are issued the required permits from the Civil Aviation Authority. They are expected to receive the okay sometime this month, and they will be announcing the airfare for flights between Hulhule' and Addu once they receive them.

This decision was made after several talks with the relevant authorities in Addu City as the airline believes that there will be demand for the flights. According to Manta Air, the spacious ATR 72-600 aircraft will be used for this route.
