Meeru Island Celebrates World Food Day with Healthy Treats

On the occasion of World Food Day which was held on October 16th, Meeru Island Resort and Spa, celebrated with a delicious selection of sustainable food choices, made exclusively on the island.

This includes a variety of resort-grown fruits and vegetables, that are produced without any chemicals or pesticides, and also locally sourced, freshly-caught tuna. Ronaldo Delgreco, Executive Chef at Meeru Island Resort, says that this year they are focused on the sustainable food that they grow in Meeru.

He continues that more healthy food like fruits and vegetables, are produced at Meeru, without the use of any chemicals or pesticides, making the food at Meeru even more special as it is much safer and healthy for both staffs and guests.

Through the production of organic raw ingredients, there is less impact on the environment. Chef Ronaldo says that the resort will continue to grow, nourish and sustain in order to create a healthier lifestyle for a better future.
