Luxury resort, The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands is happy to announce that Chef Glen Cooper has been named Executive Chef. Chef Cooper, who has more than 18 years of culinary expertise at upscale hotels around the world, is joining the Ladies and Gentlemen of magnificent resort, Ritz-Carlton Maldives.
Chef Cooper, a native of New Zealand, has experience working at hotels in Russia, Bhutan, Singapore, and the Maldives. Constance Halaveil Maldives, Kurumba Maldives, and JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa all employed Chef Cooper as their executive chef while he was there. After serving as Executive Chef at The Westin Singapore since 2019, Chef Cooper once again made his way back to the island nation, this time, bringing his expertise to the shores of Ritz-Carlton.
Guests can explore 7 different restaurants and bars at the Ritz-Carlton. Each dining location explores international flavors while incorporating Maldivian flair. The culinary journey that Chef Cooper and his crew will take guests on will be filled with custom experiences, flavors, and sustainable ingredients.
