Meet Gaurav! The New GM of the Upcoming Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa

The General Manager of the upcoming Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa has been named by Hilton as Gaurav Thakur. The 109-all pool villa resort, which is situated on a private island in the North Malé Atoll, will debut on July 1, 2022, bringing Hilton's flagship brand to the Maldives.

Gaurav, a seasoned hospitality professional with a 17-year career at Hilton spanning the Waldorf Astoria, Hilton, and Conrad brands, has a wide range of experience that includes positions in the UK, India, and the Maldives where he oversaw operations in various departments. Through his professional career, Gaurav also held significant leadership positions in the opening teams for the Conrad Bengaluru, Conrad Pune, and Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi, where he worked as resort manager before transferring to the Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa.
