The campaign aims to promote the unique geographical distribution of the Maldives and highlight the various luxury services, products and bespoke experiences offered at the island nation. Thus, the hybrid campaign will be held from January to March 2023 with both online and offline activities planned to further advertise the Sunny Side of Life in the Middle East and Qatar.
Cozmo Travel is a travel management company that accommodates both independent and corporate travellers by facilitating ready-made packages and tailored holidays. The diverse portfolio of services provided by the company includes ticketing, inbound & outbound hotel bookings, visa processing and organizing different activity programmes at its destinations. With more than 73 branches across the Middle East and India, Cozmo Travel has a high outreach.
Under this campaign, relevant posts about the Maldives will be circulated to the Qatari and the wider Middle Eastern market via Cozmo Travel’s website and its platforms on google display network and YouTube. Moreover, information on the Maldives will be provided through Cozmo Travel’s database via SMS and emails while advertisements will be featured across screens and retail outlets of the company in Qatar and the Middle East. With all these marketing strategies, the campaign is forecasted to reach over 1.1 million impressions.
Owing to this campaign, it will help augment destination recognition in the region, particularly during the peak holiday seasons among the B2B and B2C audiences in the designated markets. The hybrid marketing campaign also forms part of the marketing strategy for Qatar and the Middle East.
By the end of 2022, Maldives welcomed 100,494 tourists from the Middle East, of which 6060 represented Qatar during the period. MMPRC has given emphasis on this market with many marketing activities focused on the region to maintain destination momentum and increase popularity with much more planned ahead for this year as well.
