Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has commenced a strategic outdoor advertising campaign in Switzerland. Set to take place from 12th September to 9th October 2022, the campaign aims to increase brand visibility and destination awareness in the Swiss market.
As per the campaign, billboards and digital screens showcasing the beauty of the Maldives as a destination will be featured in two prominent locations of Zurich. Extending for four weeks, these outdoor advertorials are estimated to reach millions of views during the period. Apart from highlighting the pristine grandeur of the Maldive isles, the advertisements will also inform potential travelers about the exclusive experiences offered at the destination.
As of 14th September 2022, Maldives welcomed 22,751 tourists from the Switzerland, positioning the Swiss Market as one of the top performing source markets currently in the charts. MMPRC has been carrying out many activities targeted at the Swiss market to further boost arrival numbers while still maintaining destination presence and visibility. This includes familiarization trips, digital media advertising and a print campaign with Falstaff. More exciting activities are also planned ahead for remainder of the year as well.
