Maldives has been marketed in the potential market of Japan as a preferred post-pandemic safe travel destination. In a month-long campaign with JTB LookTours, important travel information and enticing sneak peeks into the diverse product range in Maldives was showcased.
Japan lifted travel restrictions following which the campaign was timed from September 20 to October 25. Webinars were organized by JTB for enthusiastic travelers that reached approximately 279,000 viewers on social media. Viewers were led to follow Vist Maldives Japan social handles on twitter and Facebook, inviting them to also share the campaign posts.
