Royal Island Resort & Spa, part of Villa Resorts, has appointed Nasrulla Ali as its new General Manager. With over 25 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry, Nasrulla brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role.
Nasrulla, a native Maldivian, has had an illustrious career in the hospitality sector, holding senior management positions at renowned luxury brands such as Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, One&Only Resorts, Velaa Private Island, Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas, Coco Collection, and Radisson Hotels. His journey in the industry began in 1994 as a receptionist and night auditor at Ihuru Tourist Resort, now known as Dhawa Ihuru Maldives, and most recently served as the Assistant General Manager at SAii Lagoon Maldives.
Known for his dedication to quality and guest satisfaction, Nasrulla has been recognized as an excellent trainer and manager. His international experience spans high-end properties in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, the United States, and Malaysia.
In his new role at Royal Island Resort & Spa, Nasrulla is expected to lead the resort to new heights, focusing on enhancing guest experiences and maintaining the high standards of service that the resort is known for. His appointment is seen as a strategic move to further solidify the resort’s position as a premier destination in the Maldives.
