NBAM held its first Development Committee meeting for the term 2021 - 2023

Prominent Travel Industry figure, Managing Director of Capital Travel Mr. Yoosuf Riffath has been appointed as the Chair and Mr. Ismail Shareef, GM of Al Shaali Marine has been appointed as Vice-chair of National Boating Association’s Development Committee.

Both Mr. Riffath and Mr. Shareef were appointed to their positions by the committee members at the first development committee meeting held on 29th January 2022.

NBAM’s new management has shaped the works and progress of the organization by giving authority to major two committees. Whereas marketing, promotions & CSR will be conducted under the guidance and opinion of the Marketing committee headed by recent past president Mr. Ahmed Afrah and Vice-Chair Mr. Shaam Mohamed. Meanwhile, administration, development, regulatory works are to be planned and conducted by Development Committee.

NBAM’s new management was elected during December 2021, where Ismail Hameed was elected as President, Abdulla Ibrahim as Vice President, and Ahmed Ibrahim as Treasurer for the term 2021 - 2023.

An additional 9 executive board members were elected during the election.
