Oaga Art Resort Turns Easter Into a Week of Art, Culture, and Mystery

Wednesday 16th of April 2025

Oaga Art Resort is preparing to host a uniquely immersive Easter Week from April 15 to 22, 2025, blending traditional holiday celebrations with a signature mix of art, music, and interactive storytelling. At the heart of this year’s celebration is a family-friendly mystery, “Detective Kuku and the Missing Eggs,” designed to bring guests together for an unforgettable island adventure.

The mystery kicks off on April 19 with “The Sundown Brief” cocktail soirée, where guests will be introduced to the puzzling case of the Easter Bunny’s disappearance. From there, the story unfolds through clues scattered around the island. Families can work together to solve the mystery, encountering quirky characters and creative challenges along the way. The journey ends with a vibrant Easter pool party, “The Debrief,” where the secret behind the missing eggs will finally be revealed.

Art lovers will find their space at the Suvasthi Art Studio, which will host daily “Free Flow” art sessions. Guests of all ages can get creative with bunny ear making, sun-catcher crafting, and watercolour painting led by local artists.

The “Roots in Motion – Easter Edition” dance program invites guests to explore styles like Tutting, Dancehall, and House. Sessions are available for all skill levels, including children and teens, making it a dynamic experience for the whole family.

Evenings at Oaga will come alive with live music and entertainment. Performances from local bands such as Vaguthee Trio, Affan and the King Coconuts, and Sandpaper, as well as solo artists like Naffah and Isse, will set the tone. For those looking to unwind, the “Starlit Cinema” offers open-air film nights, while the “O’Fire Night” and “Breeze & Bass” beach party will deliver high-energy nightlife.

Families can also enjoy a range of Easter-themed activities through the Fiyoh Club, making it a well-rounded holiday escape for all.

Oaga’s Easter Week promises a refreshing mix of fun, culture, and creativity in the heart of the Maldives.
