OBLU NATURE Helengeli by Sentido To Relaunch With An All-New Look

COLOURS OF OBLU; featured among the portfolio of brands under the Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts chain has unveiled plans to relaunch one of its Maldivian properties – OBLU NATURE Helengeli by Sentido. Under this large-scale renovation project, the resort will undergo several refurbishments including the introduction of a new overwater villa category. The property will also don an all-new look post-renovation with Sentido’s signature luxury lifestyle elements incorporated into every space of the island.
Given this, the four-star opulent establishment will close on May 7th, 2023 and will host its grand opening in December 2023, just in time for the festive season. The comprehensive renovation will focus on connecting nature lovers and divers more closely with the tropical environment, both above and below the surface. The brand-new villa category will feature 37 Water Villas and an exclusive Two-Bedroom Water Suite, complete with private pools and spacious overwater decks that provide easy access to the lagoon and house reef below.
Moreover, the existing 117 villas and suites of the resort will also be upscaled to 153 accommodations hosted under 7 alluring categories. The beach villas will undergo a transformative change as well with 20 villas converted into Family Beach Pool Villas, comprising two bedrooms and 15 sqm pools. Likewise, pool villas on the lagoon and the beach suites will be revamped with appealing interiors.
In addition to the upgrades brought to accommodation, the renovations will see the coming together of a new dining venue with a new progressive Indian restaurant integrated into the blueprints. Other aspects of gastronomy will be elevated too including the fine dining restaurant enhancing its ‘Just Grill’ culinary concept with an ‘Italian Twist’. This would enable guests to savour their palates with personal favourites such as pizza and pasta.
Over at the all-day restaurant, interiors will be redone to incorporate additional live counters and a glamorous overwater bar, fusing food syncs flawlessly with nature’s picturesque views. Located in the lush foliage, the main bar of the resort will be transformed into a vibrant hangout spot featuring an inviting family pool, an expanded deck area and a totally new bar!
The kids club will focus on bringing an all-nature program with its commitments reflected in the building materials like bamboo as well. Through this, the island will create a space for children to learn about their tropical surroundings. Another selection receiving an upgrade is the ELE | NA The Spa, where new salon facilities, an overwater gym and a scenic La Promenade with a boutique will uplift the stay experience further.
