The national carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, Oman Air has announced the recommencement of its popular Maldivian route this June. Starting from 24th June 2023, passengers can once again enjoy direct scheduled flights between Muscat and Male’ providing convenient air connectivity to the world’s leading destination and its sunny isles.
As of now, the airline will be operating four weekly frequencies between Velana International Airport, Male’ and the Omani capital, Muscat. Commercial class aircraft Boeing 737 MAX 8 will be used for direct flight operations. Oman Air is reinstating flights on the Muscat-Male route after a three-year hiatus after previous operations were halted in March of 2020.
Maldives marks just one of the destinations that Oman Air is increasing frequencies for the peak summer season. The national carrier also announced an increase in flight operations to other key destinations in its global network including Moscow, Bangkok, Istanbul and Kuala Lumpur among others. Each route has been enhanced with greater value, convenient timings, and seamless connectivity, ensuring a hassle-free travel experience for passengers.
