Once Upon a Table is the Chef's table at Out of the Blue, a two-storey dining venue at Soneva Fushi. Out of the Blue offers both intimate settings of just a few diners entertained by famous chefs, to much larger, alfresco shared-dining areas for all to enjoy. The star attraction of this new offering is arguably the eponymous Once Upon a Table.
An unusual horseshoe-shaped table seating a mere eight diners, Once Upon a Table has no menu, and will have a chef cooking for guests directly – meaning dinners are always a surprise. This allows the creativity and skills of the chef to take centre stage.
Once Upon a Table has been a culinary theatre showcasing some of the biggest names in fine dining. Coming soon will be Adam Dahlberg, one of the two chefs and owners of restaurant Adam/Albin in Stockholm. The restaurant offers great cooking from around the world, but the base of cooking is founded in their Swedish heritage.
