Ooredoo Donates 50 Intubation Boxes to NDMA

Ooredoo Maldives donated 50 Intubation Boxes to National Disaster Management Authority, which separate nurses & doctors from COVID-19 patients to reduce the risk of contracting the virus while performing intubation.

An innovation from Taiwan, the design of the Intubation Box was further modified as per the guidance of medical professionals. Ooredoo expresses gratitude to Metal Signs Pvt Ltd for the design and development of the boxes to ensure handover to hospitals at the earliest.

Ooredoo Group and Ooredoo Maldives had also contributed MVR 2,500,000.00 to the Government of Maldives to acquire ventilators, personal protective equipment, and testing supplies to combat the spread of coronavirus across the nation. They had also delivered special Eid meals for those in quarantine and temporary shelters with MATATO.
