
Angsana Velavaru has recently declared that the General Manager of the company, Ahmed Zahir has won the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) category of the Best General Manager of South Asia. The honour is mirrored by his exceptional leadership and vision and his many years of contributions to the hospitality industry.
Zahir is a pioneer in Maldives who became the first Maldivian to be appointed as a General Manager in the Maldives portfolio of the Banyan Group. His management in Angsana Velavaru has seen him achieve record revenue and Gross Operating Profit and has also seen his staff benefit in the success through maximum incentives. His inclusive management approach and team orientation have been demonstrated by this.
