Qatar Airways Becomes First Airline to Incorporate Vaccination Certificates in ‘Digital Passport’

Qatar Airways has raised the bar for innovation, safety, and customer service by becoming the first airline to use the IATA Travel Pass ‘Digital Passport' Mobile App to test COVID-19 vaccine authentication. As more people return to the skies, the airline is committed to minimizing paperwork and giving passengers with a more efficient, secure, and smooth flying experience.

Starting out as phases throughout July, Cabin crew will be able to upload their Qatar issued COVID-19 vaccination credentials along with their COVID-19 test results to the IATA Travel Pass Mobile App and verify they are eligible to travel.
