Today, the resort has announced a number of significant promotions within the team and welcomed a new appointee to the family.
Mohamed Younes – Director of Food and Beverages
For the past 2.5 years, Younes has been with the resort’s culinary team in various leads. Familiar to the operations, Younes aims to make the team stronger together in providing top-notch culinary journeys in new new role, leading the F&B Department. This Egyptian national is a host of rich experiences with international ultra-lux brands prior to joining Raffles Maldives.
Abdulla Inaad – Housekeeping Supervisor
Filled with a positive vibe and very hardworking. Inaad has proven to be an elemental member of the housekeeping team in Raffles Maldives Meradhoo. Shortly after he joined the resort in November 2019, the global pandemic fell on us and Inaad effortlessly maintained all the guest villas until the resort reopened. Reflecting on his past experience, the resort believes that its high time to take the second step in the career forward for Inaad, and has promoted him to Housekeeping Supervisor.
Javier Camon – Director of Marketing and Communications
Hailing from Spain, this influential member in the Raffles Maldives team is the talent behind positiong the resort amongst the best in the Maldives. Utilizing his international experience with rebranding hotels and as a part of different marketing agencies, Javier Camon has been a dedicated advocate of the resort for almost two years now.
Ibrahim Ayyoob – Chief Engineer
Refined in his experience with the local tourism industry for over 14 years, Ayyoob has climbed the top from humble beginnings as a technician. After years of experience with two other hotel brands, Ayoob brings a wealth of knowledge to Raffles Maldives Meradhoo as the Chief Engineer.
Manuel Llamas Velasco – Assistant Director of Food and Beverages
After 12 years of being a part of international culinary teams around the world, Manuel joins Raffles Maldives Meradhoo as the new Assistant Director of Food and Beverages. His vast experience will be of benefit to the resort team.
