Reethi Beach Resort To Play Host To Visiting Chef Salvatore de Rinaldi

Reethi Beach Resort is thrilled to welcome back Chef Salvatore de Rinaldi once again at the shores of the resort as he prepares to take guests on an epicurean journey. Chef Salvatore is the proud owner of the ‘de Rinaldi’ restaurant in Naples, Italy and a master of teaching at the True Neapolitan Pizza Association (AVPN).

From the 21st of November to the 29th of November 2022, Chef Salvatore will be taking residence at the 4* luxury Reethi Beach Resort where he will be conquering the ‘Reethi Grill’ on multiple evenings. A seasoned virtuoso in the arts of pizza making, Chef Salvatore will be displaying his adept skills in creating traditional Neapolitan Pizza.

Hailing from Naples, Italy Chef Salvatore initially connected with his career when he was working at the family-run restaurant ‘Ristorante Pizzeria Stella’. After being intrigued by the unique handling of the dough, he became passionate about the art of pizza making. Hence, he then partook in the AVPN where the secrets of making traditional and authentic Neapolitan Pizza are taught and safeguarded.

After sharpening his skills at the AVPN, he passed his knowledge to many students at the association and has been a connoisseur for pizzerias worldwide. In honour of his invaluable services rendered to the AVPN, Chef Salvatore has become the recipient of numerous accolades and is the author of the famed book ‘When the kitchen becomes poetry’ which was published in 2014.

As a result of Chef Salvatore’s efforts, it has now become possible to draw a fine line between the authentic pizza of Naples and the thousands of replicas of it, ensuring the original pizza reaches all parts of the world. Currently, there are approximately 500 pizzerias worldwide affiliated that make pizza with natural leavening at room temperature, as instructed precisely in the traditions.
