SATA Begins Jury Evaluation Session in the Maldives

The South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) has commenced its highly anticipated jury evaluation session in the Maldives, where nominated properties from the Indian Ocean archipelago will be thoroughly assessed over the next couple of days. This year’s jury comprises esteemed travel and hospitality professionals and industry pioneers who will lead an instrumental role in determining the finest establishments across South Asia.
SATA is a prestigious platform that distinguishes excellence in the travel and hospitality industry of South Asia, setting the benchmark for standards in the region. The Jury members included in the SATA evaluation session are:
Mr. Abdulla Latheef: a luminous travel industry figure renowned for his exceptional insights and expertise.
Dr. Mahamood Shougee: a reputed expert in the hospitality sector, contributing significantly to its growth and development.
Dr. Sachin Bansal: a leading figure in the travel and tourism field with an in-depth understanding of industry trends and consumer preferences.
Ms. Mariyam Noordeen: an illustrious name in the hospitality scene, recognized for her dedication to the culinary field.

Together, the jury members bring a wealth of experience to the evaluation process, ensuring that it is comprehensive as well as impartial. Following the evaluation of Maldivian properties, the jury will then travel to Sri Lanka, India, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh to conduct meticulous assessments of nominated establishments in each respective country.
