With over 20 years in the luxury resort, hotel and finance with extensive experience across all facets of hotel sales, marketing and distribution across the World, Semiha Askin becomes the Global Director of Sales & Marketing at the luxurious Joali Maldives.
Askin will be responsible for the overall Commercial objectives for both resorts, Joali Maldives and the soon to open Joali Being. Her responsibilities include sales & marketing, revenue generation, yield management, brand engagement and leading the world-class team. “She is an asset and extremely effective at driving growth of revenues, product launches to the luxury market and improving team performance, building a new business, securing customer loyalty and forging strong relationships with business partners at all levels,” stated the resort.
The female leader first arrived in the Maldives as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Taj Hotels in 2011, where she worked for over 6 years. Her latest contribution was to Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts where she performed as the First Exclusive Director of Marketing Role at Ten Trinity Square. And after more than two years at the position, she is continuing her successful career in the Maldives at Joali.
