Setting Sail for Success: National Boating Association of Maldives Elects New Leadership

In a pivotal moment for the maritime community, the National Boating Association of Maldives (NBAM) recently held its Annual General Meeting at Maagiri Hotel on November 21, 2023. The meeting marked a significant juncture as the association elected a new Executive Board to steer the course for the next term, showcasing the commitment of the maritime fraternity to navigate toward higher goals.

A Legacy of Progress:

The meeting commenced with a reflection on the association's remarkable 16-year journey, encapsulated in a video highlighting the substantial progress achieved. Former President Mr. Ismail Hameed, in his welcome remarks, expressed gratitude to the resilient members who have upheld the association over the past decade and a half.

Under the coordination of Secretary General Ms. Mariyam Maaisha, the election process unfolded with the participation of 37 members. The newly elected Executive Board for the year 2023-2025 boasts a diverse group of individuals dedicated to propelling the NBAM to new heights.
