Sheraton Maldives Appoints Hassan Shareef as New HR Director

Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa has announced the appointment of Hassan Shareef as the new Director of Human Resources, effective October 6, 2024. Bringing over 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Shareef specializes in employee engagement, talent management, and organizational development.

In his role, Shareef will lead initiatives aimed at improving the employee experience, reinforcing the resort's dedication to excellence. His leadership is expected to enhance workplace culture and drive innovation, solidifying the resort's status as a top destination.

Previously, Shareef served as the Director of Talent & Culture at JA Manafaru Maldives. He began his career as an HR coordinator at Kurumba Maldives in 2007 and has since worked at prestigious resorts, including Huvafen Fushi Maldives and Amilla Maldives Resorts. His expertise has been vital in boosting employee engagement and performance management.

Shareef has earned multiple accolades throughout his career, including 'Manager of the Year' in 2016 and 'Leader of the Year 2022' at Amilla Maldives Resorts. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in Travel & Tourism Hospitality.
