Through initiatives like the coral propagation program in partnership with Reefscapers, the resort has planted over 567 coral frames and 17 massive coral pyramid structures, fostering the growth of diverse marine life.
Innovative Sustainable Practices
To minimize energy consumption, the resort utilizes the INNCOMM system to control air conditioning units in guest accommodations based on occupancy status. Additionally, a cutting-edge Biogas plant in its waste management system will soon convert organic kitchen waste into valuable biogas for cooking, further reducing environmental impact.
Addressing Plastic Waste
To combat plastic pollution, the resort operates a water bottling plant that purifies seawater using reverse osmosis technology. This initiative eliminates the need for transporting water from the mainland and saves 375,000 plastic bottles annually.
