Sheraton Maldives Welcomes the Spring Festival by the Sea

The Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort and Spa will hold a special three-day event during the Spring Festival between February 16 and 18, 2026 and introduce the Lunar New Year customs to the serene shores of the Maldives. The celebration is a family-focused and multi-generational traveler-oriented event that will merge cultural legacy with a casual atmosphere of an island resort.

The island shall also be in the traditional red and gold decorations during the festival time to provide a warm and festival atmosphere along the ocean. Visitors will also have access to traditional dragon and lion dances and calligraphy as well as Lantern making, which are good luck and strength. The Prosperity Eve Dinner by the Beach which is located in the Anchorage Beach is one of the major highlights. There is also live entertainment and a classic Dragon Dance, which is a blessing of the New Year in the Maldivian night sky.
