Showcase Your Talent at Expo 2020 Dubai!

There's something for everyone at Expo 2020! Scheduled to be held from October 1, 2021 till March 31, 2022, Expo 2020 will be hosted in Dubai, UAE.

The Ministry of Economic Development in partnership with the National Center for the Arts is calling all enthusiastic artists to take part in this expo and showcase their talents to the world. Whether you dance, draw, or bring dreams to life with your creations, this opportunity will take your talent to a global stage.

Applications for interested artists are open in 3 categories:

Traditional Maldivian Boduberu (song and dance)

Fusion music (traditional instruments and sounds fused with modern music)

Artists (painters)

Send in your audition videos or portfolios along with the registration form before 1 p.m. on September 15, 2021. Applicants will be judged on the scope of talent, presentation of the art, relativity to the Maldivian traditions and the potential of the overall portfolio.

Ministry of Economic Development will be sponsoring the travel, accommodation and food expenses of all artists selected to participate in Expo 2020. A dedicated performance fee and pocket money will also be allocated by the Ministry.
