Sip and Savor: Swedish Mixologist Presents "The Nordic Take Over" at COMO Maalifushi

COMO Maalifushi, the distinguished luxury lifestyle resort in Thaa Atoll, is set to host a week-long celebration of innovative mixology with "The Nordic Take Over," featuring Swedish guest mixologist Gabriel Valdés from Villa Frantzén.

From October 23rd to 27th, 2023, guests are invited to embark on a journey of creative cocktails. Valdés will present a captivating array of Nordic-inspired concoctions, highlighting seasonal ingredients and invigorating acidity through various techniques.

Throughout the week, Valdés will curate a series of exclusive events, including "Cocktails and Conversation" sessions and cocktail classes. Here, guests can learn the art of mixing cocktails from Valdés himself and try their hand at creating his signature drinks.

For an unforgettable experience, guests can join Valdés on a breathtaking Sunset Cocktail session aboard the resort's luxurious 68-feet yacht, the Cameron. Revel in canapés paired with three cocktails and a mocktail against the backdrop of a mesmerizing sunset.

The week culminates in a Seafood Barbeque dinner on the beach, featuring a pop-up bar with a drink menu personally crafted by Valdés. Here, his specially concocted beverages will be served alongside freshly barbecued seafood.
