Skytrax Names Qatar Airways as the ‘Airline of the Year’

Marking its spot above all others even through one of the toughest times the aviation industry has faced, Qatar Airways has managed to earn the title of ‘Airline of the Year’ awarded by Skytrax. This is sixth consecutive time the airline has continued to stand at the top!

The international air transport rating organization also named the airline in five additional categories as the winner, namely; World’s Best Business Class, World’s Best Business Class Airline Lounge, World’s Best Business Class Airline Seat, World’s Best Business Class Onboard Catering and Best Airline in the Middle East.

Treated as the Oscars of the Aviation Industry, the Skytrax Awards 2021 covered the industry updates from September 2019 to July 2021. It was clearly a challenging time that demanded stakeholders to demonstrate resilience, flexibility and excellence.
