Smell Somethin’ Cooking? Soneva Welcomes Winner of MasterChef Pro Brazil, Chef Rafael Gomes!

From 13th to 24th of December, the culinary experiences at Soneva Fushi and Soneva Jani jets off to a whole new level with the arrival of Chef Rafael Gomes, the Winner of MasterChef Pro Brazil. The young Brazilian-born chef is a master of inventive cuisine with South American influences.

If you’re lucky enough to sit at this table, you’re up for a gastronomic journey nourished by sun, fresh herbs, spices, food and condiments from many different places. Rafael was also the Executive chef of Mauro Colagreco and has worked at Eleven Madison in NYC. He has his own fusion restaurant “Itacoa” in Paris. You can only imagine how good his food is.

Rafael comes to Soneva as part of the luxury resorts’ Soneva Stars program. The Soneva Stars celebrates the diverse array of guest activities and experiences on offer this year, ranging from visiting Michelin-starred chefs and astronomers.
