Luxury eco-resort operator, Soneva, recently announced a collection of eight overwater retreats at Soneva Fushi property in The Maldives, scheduled to be opened around April this year.

Dotted along a sinuous jetty, the two- and three-bedroom water retreats are carefully planned to ensure both, privacy and accessibility to the Indian Ocean.

The outdoor area on the lower level includes a swimming pool with lounge spots aplenty and a bathroom replete with an alfresco, sunken bathtub. The water slide can be accessed via the first level, which also holds a dining sala with a roof deck.

Don’t let the beautiful ocean views give you a reason to procrastinate work. There is a study area subtly sectioned off for solitary work. The lounge also comes with a study area, offering a bird’s-eye view of the seascape.
