In coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Neos is preparing a series of special flights to allow compatriots to return to Italy. Flights from the Maldives and Sri Lanka leave on 24th April to Milan. Flights can be booked on the website www.neosair.it.
NEOS was born in June 2001 to offer the market a high quality air transport activity both in flight and on land. During the coronavirus pandemic, in a situation where countries have imposed travel restrictions and airlines have temporarily stopped operations, the airline is operating special flights to destinations in order to bring back nationals.
NEOS has been the first Italian airline to be certified JAR OPS since its beginning. It carries out technical maintenance on its aircrafts and other carriers’, with its own Personnel, at the Milan Malpensa airport applying what is provided for on the matter by the JAR 145. At its headquarters, it carries out training programs for pilots and flight assistants on Boeing 737-800, 767 Moonflower and 787-9 following the TRTO certificate that was awarded in September 2002.
