SriLankan Airlines’ Travel Waiver Policy

SriLankan Airlines has introduced a Travel Waiver Policy for passengers whose travel plans may have been changed due to the COVID-19 situation. It applies to all passengers who have purchased their tickets (starting 603) on SriLankan Airlines on or before 30th April 2020 for travel commencing up to 31st December 2020.

Irrespective of the routing and place of issue, the Airline shall permit unlimited change (flight/date/routing) up to 31st December 2020 to ensure utmost convenience in view of various flight disruptions and regulations imposed around the world.

Further, if there is a difference in the airfare or applicable taxes, due to the change of the ticket upon the request of the passenger, the additional amount shall be paid by the passenger and you can postpone or advance your new dates of travel to any available date in the future. Promotional restricted tickets are eligible for change upon payment of the relevant airfare difference.

If your flight has been cancelled during February 2020 – April 2020, you are allowed to change your travel free of charge to SriLankan Airlines operated flights up to 31st May 2020. If your itinerary includes flights operated by other airlines, airfare difference and taxes shall apply.
