Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Hotel

Disney announced that reservations for its Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel will open later this year. The hotel is scheduled to open in 2021 at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

The hotel will offer two-day, two-night immersive vacation experiences for guests. Guests will take a “launch pod” to the hotel, accompanied by droids and an alien crew. The windows will feature views of space.

The experience will also include a “shore excursion” to land, specifically the planet of Batuu, the setting of the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge themed land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

“You’re going to live onboard a star cruiser … and you can get wrapped up in the larger Star Wars story,” Ann Morrow Johnson, executive producer for Walt Disney Imagineering, said in a post on the Disney Parks Blog.
