Stelco Sells Solar Panels for Installment

Stelco has commenced selling solar panels for installment in order to reduce electricity bills under their Green Light Initiative program.

On 10th February, a ceremony was held at Stelco to launch the service, which was first offered to the employees. The electricity company said that the service will soon be offered to the public.

A Centre will be opened for the purpose of providing information on this to the public including how the solar panel can be installed. A deposit of 5000 and the permission of landlord is required.

The 1.2 kilogram unit will reduce electricity bill and energy consumption, benefitting both public and the environment. All the panels are tested by Stelco and are recognized throughout the world. The panels have a duration of 25-30 years.
