Shimhad Ali: A New Era for Human Resources
Shimhad Ali joins Sun Siyam Iru Veli as the new Human Resources Manager, bringing with him extensive experience in the tourism industry. With a career that began in 2007 at Sun Siyam Vilu Reef, Shimhad has since worked at prestigious properties such as Four Seasons Resort Maldives and LUX* North Male Atoll. Most recently, he served as the Assistant Human Resources Manager at Jumeirah Maldives Olhahali Island.
Shimhad’s approach to HR focuses on creating a positive work environment where employees feel valued and empowered. He is dedicated to fostering a culture of open communication and continuous learning. Shimhad stated, “As an HR Manager, my goal is to foster a culture of open communication and continuous learning. Ibrahim Fayaz: Elevating Food and Beverage
Joining the team as Food and Beverage Manager, Ibrahim Fayaz brings over fifteen years of experience in the industry. His career began as a waiter at Bandos Island Resort and has included roles at prestigious establishments such as Soneva Gili, Hard Rock Penang, and Como Parrot Cay. His most recent position was F&B Manager at Hurawalhi Island Resort and Kudadoo Private Island, where he led his team to achieve Forbes 5 Star certification for Hurawalhi.
Fayaz is excited to contribute to Sun Siyam Iru Veli, aiming to enhance the resort’s food and beverage offerings. Kadek Darmawati: A New Vision for the Spa
Kadek Darmawati steps into the role of Spa Manager with a wealth of experience in the wellness sector. Beginning her career as a massage therapist in Bali, she has since gained extensive experience across various Maldivian resorts, including her previous role at Pullman Maldives Maamutaa. Kadek aims to elevate the Iru Veli Ocean spa to a 5-star standard, providing guests with a luxurious and rejuvenating experience.
Kadek’s philosophy is reflected in her quote, “Love what you do and do what you love.” She added, “I am blessed to have met great leaders who guided me, and I am excited to bring my expertise and passion to the Iru Veli Ocean spa, aiming to make it a sanctuary of relaxation and wellness.”
