Sun Siyam Resorts Win Big at Tripadvisor 2023 Travelers’ Choice® Best of the Best Hotel Award

Sun Siyam Vilu Reef and Sun Siyam Iru Veli – two properties under the Sun Siyam Resorts portfolio have been awarded the Tripadvisor 2023 Travelers’ Choice® Best of the Best Hotel Award. The barefoot boutique resort Sun Siyam Vilu Reef made the cut into the top 10 of ‘The Best Hotels with Spas’, a newly introduced category for 2023 which highlights relaxation. Meanwhile, five-star premium all-inclusive resort Sun Siyam Iru Veli earned a spot among the top 20 in the highly contended ‘Best All-Inclusive Hotels’ category.

The Tripadvisor Traveler’s Choice® Best of the Best Hotel Awards was unveiled coincided with the start of the summer travel season. The awards provide travel inspiration for travellers worldwide by spotlighting the best places to stay globally through an analysis of the quantity and quality of hotel reviews from past travellers over the last 12 months. Fewer than 1% of Tripadvisor’s 8 million listings are included in the Best of the Best, affirming its status to recognize excellence in the hospitality industry. The Top Hotels list accommodated a diverse range of winners hailing from 19 countries around the world. Eleven resorts in the Maldives were recognized in the awards under six distinct categories as well.
