Taj Exotica Shines with 2021 Forbes Travel Guide Four-star Award

A big win for Taj Exotica Resort & Spa Maldives as it earns 2021 Forbes Travel Guide four-star award. With this accolade, the resort receives the 4-star description of an exceptional property “offering high levels of service and quality of facility to match”. But the second Taj property in the Maldives, Taj Coral Reef also makes it to the list, as a recommended property with “consistently good service and facilities”.

Forbes Travel Guide Star Award verifies luxury. The highly trained inspectors visit every property rated, evaluating based on up to 900 objective criteria. For a minimum of two nights, the inspectors remain anonymous at the properties, disguised as guests to inspect guest experiences. They test up to 900 objective, stringent standards — such as whether you are greeted curbside by a staff member within 30 seconds of arrival, whether the bedroom is exceptionally clean and whether turndown service includes a special or thoughtful element.

Taj Exotica had scored some great goals in 2020, as it wins Conde Nast Traveller Reader’s Choice Awards and Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence as the resort with Best Yoga Programme.
