The Feminine Energy Everyone Wanted in the Industry, Finally Here!

Sunday 6th of March 2022

In an industry that slowly, but steadily, recognizes the ideas and creativity of women, Finolhu Baa Atoll Maldives has revealed that their business is flourishing, all across the globe, due to already having broken down the wall which separated men and women in the industry.

Hailing from different countries with unique cultural backgrounds, the sales and marketing team's one goal is to spread the word about Finolhu’s major transformation and to bring the right guests to the resort. And why do their differences work so well together? Well, it's because it's an all-women team, obviously.

The leader of the team is an industry veteran, Edyta Peszko, who has held the title of Direct of Sales and Marketing since July 2019. She has a combined number of over 15 years of experience and has worked in Bangkok before her time in the Maldives, which started 6 years ago. Her work is fueled by her drive to increase sales, generate business leads, and develop and manage client relationships.

With over a decade of solid Maldivian experience, and having worked at Finolhu Baa Atoll for a majority of it, Martine Lafleur is a strong and highly opinionated woman who comes from Mauritius. She is the Assistant Director of Sales and she looks after Asia, the Middle East and GCC countries, Russia and CIS countries.

Carolina del Toro is a Spanish woman who is dedicated and loyal, which is proven by the fact that she's been with the Seaside Collection for 15 years. She is the Senior Sales and Marketing Manager of Europe, and she has an abundance of enthusiasm for her craft,

Another industry veteran with over 12 years of experience, Ronalaine Fernandez Sato from the Philippines is the Assistant Manager of PR and Communications. She joined the FInolhu team as a sales executive and worked her way to the top, with her creativity, keen attention to detail, versatility, flexibility, “can-do attitude” and ability to work under pressure.

From the same home country as Ronalaine, Samantha Trinidad has been in the Maldives for the past 5 years. She started off at Finolhu as a finance intern and was determined to build a career in Sales and Marketing, so she is now the newest addition to the 'dream team' at Finolhu.

All these women, no matter what day it is, want to inspire other women to break new grounds, dare to take risks, and face hurdles with poise and grace.
