CN Traveler asks Travel Insiders, ‘if they could have one feast anywhere on earth right now, where would it be?’ Model and actress Cara Delevingne chooses the Fish and Crab Shack on Finolhu luxury resort.

‘The most amazingly fun party island. This spot at the end of a long slick of white beach is the place where I’ve had some of my longest lunches ever – lots of pink wine, the freshest crab sliders, beautiful spaghetti carbonara, then dancing as the sun sets and long swims in the sea just as it turns dark and the stars come out,’ said the famous actress.

The Crab Shack, made of wooden planks, offers you great down to earth food. At noon you can enjoy shrimp in the sun with a glass of wine or just have a drink and a few snacks. It looks like dining in desert, but look sideways and the ocean is right in front of you.

Finolhu is one of the best beach resorts in Maldives. With its 125 private villas and four restaurants, the resort is as varied as the coral landscape of Baa Atoll. It stretches across four islands and its beaches are about two kilometres long. Tropical plants line the sandy paths of the main island like in a botanical garden.
