The Largest Sky Diving Event in Maldives

Mercure Maldives Kooddoo resort hosts the largest Skydiving event in the Maldives in association with Skydive Maldives. The event was a huge success with 328 licensed skydivers from over 20 different countries using Super Caravan from Germany.

In the event that took place from 1st February 2020 to 24th February 2020, the staff and participants carried out over 5,000 jumps above Kooddoo Island over three weeks. Furthermore, an offsite was planned for a tiny island about three miles from Kooddoo.

The event was covered by every Skydiving publication around the globe. The event’s social media content provided unlimited free advertising for the Maldives through Instagram, Facebook, Youube, Twitter, etc.

This event in the Maldives was one of the most anticipated events in the recent skydiving history with an estimated economic impact of USD$3,000,000 to the Maldives.
